World Food Day (October 16)

World Food Day is celebrated every year on October 16, the date when the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), United Nations agencies, established in 1945.

World Food Day was established by FAO member countries at the 20th general conference in November 1979. Delegation of the Hungarian Ministry of Agriculture and Food, Dr. Pal Romany important role in the conference and proposed the idea of ​​the celebration of World Food Day.
